SKILLED SHOOTER COURSE

ONLY R 300 PER PERSON!

AMMUNITION NOT INCLUDED

Recommended for everyone with a valid firearm license:

1.        You have completed the course in basic firearm handling and received your training certificate.

2.       You  have a Competency Certificate issued by the SAPS

3.       You now own a firearm for self-defence and carry it with you every day (or occasionally, but have it for home protection)

If you have the above, it means that you have fired 10 shots (probably 9 mm) on a huge A 3 size paper target from 7 meters away with no time limit.

This also means that you used a firearm provided by the training centre where you completed your training.

NOW YOU HAVE YOUR OWN!

Now it is important that you train in order to build a steady foundation for contingency with your own firearm.

During this course, we will focus on the following:

Safety measures and safe handling.

Firearm Safety 

Range Safety Procedures

Know your firearm and its capablities

Stopping Power vs Shot Placement

7 Fundamentals of shooting 

The art of the perfect shot

Draw, Cock and Fire(Rectifying Stoppages)

Immediate Action Drills

Rapid Reloads

Cleaning Procedures

Gear requirements:

Serviceable holster

Minimum 1 magazine pouch

Minimum of 2 serviceable magazines

Suitable range wear: Trousers, Belt, Closed Shoes, Shirt or T-Shirt 

Good attitude

Firearms: Licensed Handgun (regardless of calibre)

Ammunition: 100 rounds of ammunition

Duration:

1 Saturday morning from 9:00 to 13:00

R300 per person (ammunition not included)
